Sasa Dordevic

Born in 1965 in Nis, Serbia, Sasa Dordevic lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. As we step into Sasa world, somewhere between imagination and reality, we become a part of his visual diary, he is artist who specializes in watercolors and Oil painting. He has been painting since he was a child, it is his love and passion. His works are inspired by urban scenes, religion and everyday life. He likes to use bright colors and expressive strokes to capture the mood and atmosphere of his subjects.

Some of his most famous paintings include “The Bridge over the Sava River”, “The Old Town Square” and “The Flower Market”.During his career, he exhibited at several independent and collective exhibitions in renowned Serbian galleries such as Akademija 28, Cultural Center Majdanpek, Cultural Center Nis.
